Professional designations and work experience for David Barnett, include: a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Williams School of Business and Economics at Bishop’s University, and a certificate from UNBSJ’s Electronic Commerce Management Program.
Mr. Barnett joined Sunbelt Business Brokers in 2008. Sunbelt is the world’s largest network of business brokers with over 300 offices on six continents. In 2009, Mr. Barnett was awarded his business brokering certification from an internationally recognized body. Since 2008, Mr. Barnett has personally handled over 35 business sale transactions. David left Sunbelt in 2011 and continues to help clients on a consulting basis.
David Barnett, has been awarded the CMEA designation (Certified Machinery/ Equipment Appraiser) by the NEBB Institute (www.nebbi.org). CMEAs are located throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries, and are used by banks, BDC, other lending institutions, accountants, lawyers, business buyers/sellers and others to provide needed financial information for a variety of reasons. David has completed valuation assignments across a wide spectrum of industries.
